Grandma Wills Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Large eggs
- 4 c. white plain flour
- 2 c. wheat flour
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
- Cream sugar, oil, and salt.
- Pour c. of warm water over creamed mix.
- Add in yeast and Large eggs; stir well.
- Gradually add in flour to the mix; knead dough.
- Place in greased bowl and let rise till doubled.
- Rolls can be made then, but works best after refrigerated.
- Roll out very thin; brush with melted butter and sprinkle on sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Roll up and slice in 1 inch thick slices.
- Place in greased pan; let rise about 2 hrs; then bake at 300 degrees for about 15 min.
- Cover with glaze of confectioners sugar and butter.
