Tomato and New Harvest Onion Salad
- 1 Tomato
- 1/4 Onions (sliced)
- 2 Shiso leaves
- 1 Grated garlic
- 1 tbsp Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
- 2 pinch Sugar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- Slice the onions and soak in water.
- Cut the tomato and shiso leaves.
- Grate the garlic.
- Squeeze the water out of the onions and combine in a bowl with the ingredients from Step 2.
- Add the flavoring ingredients and adjust the taste with salt and pepper.
- You can eat it right away if you like, but if you let it chill in the refrigerator, it will marinade the ingredients and become really delicious.
- If you don't have shiso leaves, you can use finely chopped green onions.
