sig's breaded, filled pancake parcels
- 1/2 cup plain flour.
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 large eggs.
- 450 grams sausage meat or cooked ,shredded leftover meat ,of choice
- 1 large onion chopped finely
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup vegetable or meat stock .
- 1 pinch each salt and.pepper,
- 250 grams Sauerkraut
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion finely chopped onion
- 240 grams finely chopped mushrooms
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper each
- 1 medium Egg , hardboiled and chopped
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- mix all ingredients for pancake mix ,set aside for thirty minutes.
- in small frying pan heat a little butter ,cook (not to big) a pancake , slightly brown from both sides.
- Finish until used up .
- For the meat stuffing only: ,mix and rough blend all meat ingredients in foos proccesor add a spoonful or so to each pancake , fold in sides and fold over to make small parcel
- whisk the eggs ,roll each parcle in egg drip off ,roll into breadcrumbs.
- fry until golden brown all around , heated and cooked through
- these can also be filled with sauerkraut and mushroons or potatoes and creamcheese
- Sauerkraut and mushrooms filling
- For Sauerkraut filling you will need : 250 gr sauerkraut, 2 tblsp butter, 1 onion finely chopped ,8 oz chopped mushrooms ,1 pinch each salt and pepper,1 hardboiled chopped egg, 2 tablsp sour cream.
- saute onions,add sauerkraut ,saute for a while add mushrooms ,seasoning ,egg and sour cream.Make parcel proceed as before,
