Triple-Play Babyback Ribs
- 2 racks Babyback Ribs, Cut Into Serving-size Portions
- 3 teaspoons Barbecue Spice Rub (I Like Penzeys)
- 1- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/2 cups White Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 cups Honey
- 13 cups Soy Sauce
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 3/4 teaspoons Ground Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- Heat grill to medium-high heat.
- Sprinkle rib sections with the barbecue spice rub and rub it into the meat.
- Place ribs on hot grill long enough to achieve a nice char and grill marks on all sides (this will only take a few minutes per side).
- Once ribs are seared, remove them from the grill and place them in a large slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-7 hours.
- About half an hour before serving, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, soy sauce and spices in a small bowl.
- Heat oven to 375 F. Remove the rib sections from the slow cooker and place in a shallow roasting pan.
- Pour sauce mixture over the ribs and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly and browned onto the meat.
