Asparagus Saute with Lots of Grated Cheese

  1. Wash the asparagus and peel the bottom 1/3 of the stems.
  2. Cut it into easy to eat pieces.
  3. If the stems are thin and soft, you don't need to peel.
  4. Just cut in half.
  5. Melt butter in a pan, throw in the asparagus and fry on medium heat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and once it's cooked through, add soy sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Finally, add grated cheese, stop the heat and allow everything to blend over residual heat.
