Meatball And Rice Casserole
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/2 c. shredded cheese
- Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, salt and Worcestershire sauce.
- Shape into 18 meatballs (1 1/2-inch diameter).
- Brown in oil.
- Drain.
- Place in greased baking dish. Mix together rice, celery, green pepper, soup and water.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Bake 45 minutes in a 350u0b0 oven.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 5 minutes longer.
