Sausage Potato Roll
- 1 lb. ground sausage
- Premade
- self made pastry
- Mashed potatoes
- Cook sausage in skillet on low heat until done keeping it in the roll shape.
- While it is cooking make enough pastry for 1 1/2 pie crusts.
- Peel and boil potatoes.
- When potatoes are cooked drain and mash with butter and milk to taste.
- Roll out pie crust into a rectangle and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the pie crust and place the sausage into the center.
- Roll pastry and potato crust around the sausage, seal, prick with a fork and bake in a 375 oven until crust is golden brown.
- Serve with vegetable of choice, and/or salad.
