Apples Stuffed With Sausage
- 6 apples (Use a good flavored apple for this old favorite such as Fuji, Gala, Jonathan, Cortland, Empire or Wi)
- 1 lb bulk sausage, any flavor
- Slice top off apples and core, leaving only a thick casing.
- Dice apple pulp and mix with sausage.
- Stuff cases, piling high.
- Bake at 375F for 35 to 40 minutes.
