Filet Mignon With Sweet Bourbon-Coffee Sauce

  1. Combine water, bourbon, sugar, bouillon, and instant coffee.
  2. Sprinkle pepper and salt over both sides of steaks.
  3. Grill or cook steaks as desired.
  4. (Easiest in coated pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook as desired or a maximum of 2 mins on each side.

  7. Transfer steaks to a platter, cover and keep warm.
  8. Add bourbon mixture to pan (use the pan used for the steaks, if possible).
  9. Cook over medium-high heat until mixture has reduced to 1/4 cup (about 3 minutes).
  10. Serve sauce over beef.
  11. Sprinkle with parsley.
