Broiled Shrimp And Scallops (Scampie E Cape Sante Alla Griglia Recipe

  1. Shell and devein shrimp.
  2. Wash shrimp and scallops under cool running water.
  3. Pat dry with paper towels.
  4. In a large bowl, combine oil, parsley, garlic, breadcrumbs and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add in shrimp and scallops to mix.
  6. Mix till well coated.
  7. Let stand 1 hour.
  8. Preheat broiler.
  9. Remove shrimp and scallops from marinade.
  10. Gently press some extra breadcrumb mix onto the shrimp and scallops.
  11. Place alternately on 6 metal skewers.
  12. Put skewers under warm broiler.
  13. Broil 2 minuts or possibly till golden brown.
  14. Turn skewers over and broil on other side 2 min or possibly till golden brown.
  15. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
