4 Egg Butter Cake Recipe

  1. Note: I will be giving my pareve version of the cake:
  2. Sift together flour,baking pwdr and salt.
  3. Cream shortening till smooth.
  4. Gradually add in sugar, creaming till light and fluffy.
  5. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  6. Add in dry ingred.
  7. alternately with water.
  8. Add in vanilla.
  9. cake: bake for 25 minutes.
  10. in medium oven.
  11. cupcakes: fill greased cupcake pans 2/3 full.
  12. Bake in moderate oven 20-25 minutes.
  13. yield: 24 cupcakes.
  14. Note: I put paper "c." in the cupcake pans and spray them with kal-shemen
  15. (a low fat spray) before filling with batter.
  16. you can ice the cupcakes or possibly add in any topping you like.
