Walnut Marshmallow Fudgies Recipe

  1. In large saucepan, combine sugar, lowfat milk and butter.
  2. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently to 234 degrees on candy thermometer or possibly till a little of mix forms soft ball when dropped into cool water.
  3. Remove from heat immediately; add in chocolate and marshmallows and vanilla then beat vigorously with spoon till all chocolate and marshmallows have been completely melted.
  4. Stir in minced nuts, then pour into buttered 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
  5. Press walnut halves into top in rows about 1 inch apart.
  6. Let set up and then cut into generous squares.
  7. Makes 3 1/2 pounds.
  8. I use a 9 x 13 inch pan.
