Sauerbraten Meatballs

  1. Combine ground beef, onion, egg, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  2. Shape into 1-1/2-inch meatballs.
  3. Brown meatballs in butter in a large skillet over medium heat; drain well.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients except sour cream; mix well.
  5. Pour over meatballs; cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove meatballs to a serving platter; keep warm.
  7. Strain sauce; stir in sour cream, and pour over meatballs.
