Beefy Noodle Casserole Recipe

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Saute/fry' mushrooms, celery, onion, and green pepper in butter in large dutch oven till tender.
  3. Add in beef; cook till browned, stirring occasionally.
  4. Drain.
  5. Stir in corn and next 7 ingredients.
  6. Add in noodles; spoon mix into a greased, deep 3-qt casserole.
  7. Cover and bake at 325 F for 25 min or possibly till warm and bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle with cheese, and bake, uncovered, 3 min or possibly till cheese melts.
  9. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  10. Combine mushrooms, celery, onion, green pepper, and butter in 3-qt microwave safe bowl.
  11. Cover loosely with heavy-duty plastic wrap; microwave on high 3-4minutes or possibly till vegetables are tender, stirring after 2 min.
  12. Crumble beef into vegetables; cover and microwave at high for 5-6 min or possibly till meat is done, stirring twice.
  13. Drain.
  14. Stir in corn and next 7 ingredients.
  15. Add in noodles; spoon mix into a deep 3-qt microwave safe casserole.
  16. Cover and microwave at medium-high (70% power) for 9-11 min or possibly till heated.
  17. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and microwave at medium for 2-3 min or possibly till cheese melts.
