Marvelous Cherry Torte Recipe

  1. Mix flour, confectioners sugar, and butter.
  2. Pat in bottom of 8 x 13 inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees (325 degrees if glass dish) for 15 min.
  4. Cold.
  5. Beat Large eggs with granulated sugar till thick and frothy.
  6. Add in salt, 1/4 c. flour, baking pwdr and vanilla.
  7. Beat well.
  8. Mix in nuts and cherries.
  9. Pour over baked crust.
  10. Bake 40 min longer at 325 degrees.
  11. Cold.
  12. Add in topping just before serving.
