Meat Curry

  1. Melt butter in saucepan and add onion, garlic, celery and apple.
  2. Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes.
  3. Blend flour, curry powder and mustard; sprinkle it over vegetables.
  4. Stir.
  5. Add bay leaf and chicken broth; rapidly stir with wire whisk.
  6. When mixture has thickened, let simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Stir bottom often to prevent from sticking.
  8. Add meat, milk and finely chopped chutney; simmer 4 to 5 minutes longer.
  9. Serve with rice.
