Easy Vegetarian Corn Chowder

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Cook onions and celery in butter 3 minutes.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook 6 minutes more, until light brown.
  4. Whisk in broth and simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in creamed corn, corn, carrot, half-and-half, milk, nutmeg, pepper and salt.
  6. Simmer over low heat 10 minutes more.
