Sauerkraut, Slovak Style Recipe
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 2-3 tbsp. butter
- 1 (16 ounce.) can sauerkraut, washed & liquid removed well
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. caraway seed
- Pepper to taste
- In a skillet, cook onion in butter till lightly browned.
- Add in sauerkraut, sugar, caraway seed and pepper; mix well.
- Simmer, covered 30 min, stirring occasionally.
