Simple Chopped Pork and Onion Curry Flavored Stir-Fry
- 200 grams Pork offcuts
- 1 dash of each Salt and pepper, Umami seasoning (optional)
- 1/2 tbsp of each Sake and katakuriko
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 small Onion
- 1/5 tsp Curry powder
- 2 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire-style Sauce
- 2 tsp Mayonnaise
- 1 dash less than a tablespoon Sesame oil (for stir frying)
- 1 cm Garlic (tube type)
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- Place the meat and ingredients into a bag, and rub in well.
- Cut the onion in half vertically, and then slice horizontally.
- I recommend thick slices, but you can also cut thinly.
- Mix the ingredients together.
- Add sesame oil and garlic to a Teflon or nonstick pan, spread out the meat slices from Step 1 and add to the pan, turn on the heat, and begin to saute.
- Once the meat has browned, add the onions and saute more.
- Add the sauce from Step 2 around the pan after the onions have wilted and saute together.
- Turn off the heat once the sauce has covered everything, season with salt and pepper, and arrange on plates.
- Add lots of salt and pepper.
- If you don't use enough, then the taste will be bland.
- This is great with black pepper.
- Increase the curry powder to 2 heaping teaspoons if you want to spice this up.
- If you like sweet curry or are making this for children, then add a bit of sugar.
