Spaghetti Meat Sauce (Freezable)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 14 cup salad oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb chopped tomato
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- Saute onion and garlic in hot oil.
- Add meat and cook until browned.
- Add remaining ingredients; simmer slowly for about 1 hour.
- Cool quickly; freeze in ice cube trays.
- When frozen, transfer to freezer container.
- To serve, heat as many cubes as needed over low heat.
- Spoon over spaghetti and.
- top with grated cheese.
