Granola
- 4 cups quick oats
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup wheat bran
- 12 cup oat bran
- 12 cup buckwheat groats
- 12 cup sunflower seeds
- 12 cup pumpkin seeds
- 12 cup whole almond
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup safflower oil
- 3 tablespoons ground flax seeds
- 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350F Use a 9 x 13 baking pan.
- Put in oats, wheat germ, brans, buckwheat, seeds, almonds, flax, and hemp.
- Mix gently.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar, and mix again.
- Add the vanilla to the oil and drizzle over, then mix well.
- Place in oven.
- Set your timer for 10 minutes.
- Take it out and mix it, especially in the corners and edges as it cooks faster there.
- Place in oven for another 10 minutes, and then mix again.
- Place in oven for another 10 minutes.
- (30 minutes total).
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Place in a covered container.
- Can be kept at room temperature for a week or 2 at least.
