Asiago Jalapeno Bagel Burger
- 1/2 pounds Ground Chuck
- 1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste
- 1 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper, Or To Taste
- 2 slices American Cheese
- 1 slice (3/4 Inch Thick) Red Onion
- 1 whole Asiago Jalapeno Bagel, Sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Gravy (optional)
- 2 slices Cooked Bacon
- 1 cup Lettuce
- 2 slices Pickles
- Shape ground chuck into a patty and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Let rest.
- Meanwhile, prepare remaining ingredients and light charcoal for grill.
- If not using charcoal, preheat gas grill or large skillet on a stove.
- Once grill is hot, add burger.
- Cook to desired temperature (I prefer medium with a bit of warm pink in the center).
- Flip, then add cheese and let melt.
- I also place the onion and bagel on the grill for a few minutes, to warm through.
- Lets build this burger.
- Take bottom part of bagel and smear warm brown gravy onto it (if using).
- Add sliced red onion, bacon, burger, lettuce, and pickles.
- Top with top of bagel, press down, then get into this thing.
ground chuck, salt, black pepper, american cheese, red onion, bagel, brown gravy, bacon, pickles
