My Family's Okonomiyaki
- 300 grams All purpose flour
- 10 grams Dashi stock granules
- 600 ml Water
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 egg per pancake Egg
- Mix all the ingredients together (add the egg when mixing the filling).
- For the filling, you can use cabbage, frozen shrimp, ground pork, corn, cheese, green onion, etc.
- In a bowl, mix the cabbage, fillings, egg, and some of the batter.
- Fold in together.
- Use one egg per pancake.
- If you can't obtain thinly sliced pork, you could saute ground pork separately and add it to the filing (about 200~300g is enough for 4 pancakes).
