Grilled Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Burgers
- 2 1/2 lb ground beef
- 8 oz brick mild cheddar cheese
- 1 lb bacon
- 3 tbsp mccormick molasses bacon seasoning
- 5 hamburger buns
- 1 whatever u wanna top ur burger with.. ketchup,tomato,,lettuce,mustard
- cut package of bacon in half and fry according to package directions.
- set aside.
- preheat grill.
- prepare meat by balling up meat into 10 equal sized balls.
- hand form each ball into a round flat patty.
- slice brick of cheese into thin slices.
- about 1/4 inch thick.
- on one patty place enough cheese to cover the middle of the patty only.
- about 2.5 slices.
- place one slice of bacon on top of the cheese.
- place another patty on top.
- now pinch the edges together and reform your now filled patty until u no longer see a crease.
- season both sides of burger with the bacon molasses seasoning.
- place burgers on grill and cook until done.
- flipping halfway.
- about 10 minutes per side depending on how well done u like them.
- just before removing from the grill place a few more slices of cheddar on the top of the burger and heat until just melting.
- remove from heat and place on a tray to await assembly.
- place burger on bun and add more bacon and toppings of your choice.
- serve..
- HINT: keep raw beef cold.
- keep refridgerated until ready to cook.
- they stay together better when cold.
