Ham and Bean Soup

  1. Soak beans in water overnight.
  2. Saute ham, onion, and celery in oil.
  3. Add to beans.
  4. Cook approximately 3 hours.
  5. About 20 minutes before done, add salts and pepper.
  6. Remove 2 cups of beans, mash and return to beans.
  7. Heat through.
