Spaghetti with Italian Sausage Meat Alternative
- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- 2 peeled garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 medium yellow onions, chopped
- 4 BOCA Meatless Italian Sausages, sliced and quartered
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium red pepper, chopped
- 1-1/2 cups reduced sodium spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
- 16 large fresh s, sliced
- 8 oz. spaghetti, uncooked
- 32 fl oz (4 cups) , favorite flavor
- Heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic, onion, sausage and peppers to pan; saute until peppers are soft.
- Add spaghetti sauce, parsley, basil and oregano; simmer 15 min., then add mushrooms and simmer 5 more min.
- Divide into 4 equal portions; serve over cooked pasta.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Serve each person 8 fl.
