Smoky Barbecue Ribs Recipe
- 3 lbs. meaty ribs
- 2 tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 c. water
- A little minced onion
- Boil meat with liquid smoke about 1 hour.
- (I use some onion when I boil the ribs and I also put some onion in my sauce mix.)
- Mix rest of ingredients and pour over ribs and continue to bake in 350 degrees oven about 1 or possibly 1 1/2 hrs.
- Baste sauce over meat couple of times while baking.
- I make it day before and let meat set in sauce.
