Battered fish
- 5 fish fillet ( i used pollock )
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp club house salmon season
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp lawrys season salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 cup water
- Cut the fillet in 4 peaces each and place in a bowl and season with the olive oil+ club house salmon season and lemon juice ..just gently rub the ingredients on the fish then set aside ... ( optional > you can sprinkle some black pepper on it as well ...I do )
- In a medium bowl add the flour + cornstarch + baking soda + season salt + salt + turmeric + paprika + onion powder mix altogether with a fork and gradually add your water mixing until you get a smooth batter
- In a deep frying pan on medium heat..heat your oil and once ready dip the fish in the batter and then in the oil ...fry for few minutes on each side ...(tip) > put your oven on @ 225 and place the fish on a baking tray to keep warm while the rest of your fish cooks ...enjoy !
