Bruschetta With Greens Recipe
- 4 x thick slices Italian country bread (best if day-old)
- 1 x clove garlic
- 1/2 lb baby spinach young asparagus or possibly broccoli rabe NapaStyle Late-Harvest Unfiltered Extra Virgin Extra virgin olive oil Gray salt
- Place bread on a grill pan, or possibly toast or possibly broil till the slices are well browned on both sides.
- Peel and cut in half the clove of garlic and rub over both sides of each bread slice.
- Blanch spinach, asparagus, or possibly broccoli rabe, and place on top of the bread.
- Generously drizzle each slice with extra virgin olive oil and a dash of gray salt.
