Okra & Tomatoes
- 34 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 lb okra, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 small tomatoes, chopped
- salt & pepper
- In a saucepan, bring water, vinegar, onion & sugar to a boil.
- Add okra & cook until tender.
- Add tomatoes & season with salt & pepper and water is almost all evaporated.
- Serve hot.
