Chicken with Cream Sauce
- 300 grams Chicken thighs
- 1 packet Shimeji mushrooms
- 1 Onion
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 300 ml Milk
- 30 grams Butter (margarine)
- 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 1 Salt and pepper
- Line the chicken on a plate and sprinkle on some sake.
- Cover it with plastic wrap and microwave for about a minute.
- Put the butter and onions in a pan and lightly stir.
- Add in the flour before the butter melts (over medium heat).
- Turn the heat to low, and slowly pour the milk into the pot in 3~4 portions.
- Slowly stir to prevent the milk from separating.
- Season with salt and pepper after the sauce starts to thicken in about 5 minutes.
- Please adjust the seasoning to taste.
- Add the chicken and shimeji mushrooms in that order, and cook for 10 more minutes, then you're done!!
