Chicken with Cream Sauce

  1. Line the chicken on a plate and sprinkle on some sake.
  2. Cover it with plastic wrap and microwave for about a minute.
  3. Put the butter and onions in a pan and lightly stir.
  4. Add in the flour before the butter melts (over medium heat).
  5. Turn the heat to low, and slowly pour the milk into the pot in 3~4 portions.
  6. Slowly stir to prevent the milk from separating.
  7. Season with salt and pepper after the sauce starts to thicken in about 5 minutes.
  8. Please adjust the seasoning to taste.
  9. Add the chicken and shimeji mushrooms in that order, and cook for 10 more minutes, then you're done!!
