Mississippi Mud Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 275F.
  2. Boil water in a medium saucepan.
  3. Melt chocolate in water (boil for 1 minute).
  4. Add butter and sugar; let dissolve and cool for 10-15 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, in a large bowl or a stand mixer blend the dry ingredients.
  6. Add the chocolate mixture into the dry mixture and stir in the eggs and mix until smooth.
  7. Pour into a greased 9-inch spring form pan.
  8. Bake at 275F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  9. Do the toothpick test, if it does not come out clean bake for 10 more minutes or until the tooth pick comes out clean.
