Caramelized Onions

  1. Cut onions in half lengthwise; cut each half crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  2. Place onion slices, broth and butter in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker.
  3. Cover with lid; cook on high 8 hours or until golden, stirring after 4 hours.
