Sauerkraut And Pork (Pa Style) Recipe
- 2 to 3 Packages sauerkraut
- 1 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 to 3 lbs. boneless or possibly semi-boneless pork blade or possibly rib roast
- 3 c. water, more if needed
- Rinse sauerkraut and place in 5 qt pan.
- Add in water.
- Put in spices and sugar, salt and pepper.
- Add in roast.
- Cook till almost done on low heat for 4 hrs.
- Remove roast, cold, cut into bite size pcs.
- Add in to sauerkraut.
- Mix 2 c. of Bisquick and 1 c. water and drop into sauerkraut and cook about 20 min.
- Serve while warm.
