Beef Rice Bowl with Sticky and Fluffy Minced Okra

  1. Cut the tops off the okra and chop up roughly.
  2. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and lightly coat with katakuriko.
  3. Julienne the ginger.
  4. Pour sesame oil in a pan, add the ginger, and turn on the heat.
  5. When it becomes fragrant, add the beef and stir-fry.
  6. When the beef has browned all over, add the oyster sauce, soy sauce and honey all at once, simmer and mix well.
  7. Add the okra, stir-fry briefly, and it's done.
  8. Serve some cooked rice in a bowl, and add Step 3 on top.
  9. Break in the quail egg in the middle, sprinkle a few drops of ra-yu (it will add spiciness and bring all the flavors together), and it's done.
  10. Mix everything together and devour!
