Rabia's Famous Shrimp Biryani
- 3 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 (10 ounce) cans Rotel Tomatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 5 cups rice
- 1 cup coriander, finely chopped
- 1 package fish biryani spice mix (I use Shan brand)
- Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Cook rice in rice pot.
- Heat oil and cook onions until golden brown.
- Add tomatoes.
- cook until dry.
- Add fish biryani spice mix.
- Mix.
- Add shrimp cook until almost done.
- Add coriander.
- Mix shrimp with rice.
- Put in oven for 30 minutes.
- Serve.
