Pumpkin Bread
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 3/4 c. canned pumpkin
- 3/4 c. chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. ground walnuts
- Grease bottom of 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
- Beat until fluffy.
- Blend in eggs and beat well.
- At low speed, add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Stir in chips and nuts.
- Pour into greased pan (may sprinkle with 1/4 cup nuts on top).
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 65 to 75 minutes until toothpick test; cool.
- Let stand 6 hours before slicing.
- Eat rest of the bag of chocolate chips.
