Angel Food Tiramisu
- 2-1/2 cups CAFFE ORIGINS Decaffeinated Coffee Italian Roast Fractional Pack
- 8-3/4 cups water
- 1/3 cup chocolate extract, divided
- 5 cups PHILADELPHIA Original Cream Cheese, softened
- 2-1/2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1-2/3 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 5 loaves angel food cake loaf
- 1/4 cup unsweetened unsweetened cocoa powder
- Line 2 full-size hotel pans with plastic wrap; set aside.
- (Or, use 1 half-size hotel pan for trial recipe.)
- Brew coffee with water; cool.
- Stir in 3 Tbsp.
- plus 1 tsp.
- chocolate extract (or stir in 2 tsp.
- extract for trial recipe).
- Beat cream cheese, marscapone cheese, brown sugar and remaining extract with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Split cakes in half horizontally.
- Arrange 1/2 of the cake pieces in single layer in prepared hotel pans; drizzle with 1/2 of the coffee mixture.
- Cover with 1/2 of the cream cheese mixture.
- Sift 1/2 of the cocoa powder evenly over cream cheese mixture in pan.
- Repeat all layers.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until chilled.
- Cut dessert in each pan into 20 squares to serve.
- (Or, cut dessert for trial recipe into 8 squares.)
