Sloppy Biscuit
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf (crushed)
- 1 dash of pepper
- 1 dash of sea salt
- 1 dash of crushed cayenne red pepper
- 1 dash of sweet onion and herb
- 1 dash of southwest sweet and smoky
- 2 tbsp tabasco sauce
- 1/2 cup picanta sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers buttermilk biscuits
- Mix seasonings, salsa, tomato paste, water, and Olive oil together.
- Turn oven to 350F.
- Roll out biscuits into flat thin disk.
- Brown ground beef.
- Place biscuit into cupcake pan.
- Add sloppy joe mix to beef.
- Cook until thickened.
- Scoop sloppy joe mix into biscuits.
- Fold biscuits over to cover sloppy joe mix.
- Trim excess biscuits.
- Bake 17-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve.
