Liver and Onions

  1. Cut liver into serving pieces.
  2. Mix onions, oil, pepper and sage in 1-qt casserole.
  3. Cover and microwave on high until onions are crisp tender, 4 to 6 minutes.
  4. Brush liver with soy sauce.
  5. Arrange with thickest pieces to outsied in 9- inch pie plate.
  6. Spoon onions evenly over liver.
  7. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 3 minutes; turn pie plate one-half turn.
  8. Micro- wave until liver is no longer pink, 1 to 3 minutes (do not overcook).
  9. Let stand 3 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle with lemon juice and parsley just before serving.
