Pineapple pork ribs cooked in banana leaves
- 5 lb slab of pork ribs
- 1/4 cup pink Himalayan salt course
- 1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 cup pineapple chunks save juice
- 3 large banana leaves
- 1 tbsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar half for each side
- Preheat oven 325 Fahrenheit rinse ribs well tonget bone chips off
- In a large pan spray with nonstick spray and lay a banana leaf on bottom
- Rub ribs both sides each side getting half the spices rubbed on each side
- Lay the pineapple chunks on top and wrap ribs with leaves stick in the oven 4 and a half hours or till done
