Hari Hari Yakhni (Peas and Paneer)
- 2 cups raw peas, shelled and coarsely ground
- 10 oz. paneer, cubed and fried
- 8-1/2 oz. tomato, pureed and strained
- 4 tbsp. oil
- ghee
- 3 onions
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 1/2 -inch ginger
- 3 green chilies
- 2 tbsp. coriander leaves
- 12 cashew nuts
- 6 cardamoms
- 6 cloves
- 1 tsp. coriander seeds
- Salt, to taste
- Heat oil and fry the ground masala for approximately 7 minutes.
- Add tomato puree and fry some more.
- Add ground peas and keep stirring.
- Add 2 cups warm water and cook until peas are tender.
- Before serving, add fried paneer cubes.
