Stir Fried Spicy Miso Konnyaku

  1. Pierce the konnyaku with a fork to make it easier to absorb flavor.
  2. Cut to about 1 cm thick.
  3. Soak in hot water to remove the harshness.
  4. Heat a frying pan with olive oil and cumin seeds.
  5. Turn down to low, try not to burn them.
  6. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add the ginger.
  7. When it is aromatic, add and dissolve the miso.
  8. When the miso has dissolved, add the konnyaku.
  9. Cook on medium heat until the liquid is nearly gone.
  10. Finally pour in the nam pla fish sauce to season.
  11. Then it's done!
