Broiled Asiago Heirlooms

  1. Preheat the broiler on your oven.
  2. I set mine to high.
  3. Lay sliced tomatoes in a 9x13 baking dish, overlapping a few if needed.
  4. Sprinkle tomatoes with salt and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, mix panko, cheese, garlic and parsley with a spoon until combined.
  6. Evenly sprinkle panko mix over the top of the tomatoes.
  7. Broil for 2-3 minutes, or just until cheese and crumbs are golden.
  8. Watch carefully as the bread crumbs can burn quickly!
  9. Serve as a summer side dish, a salad starter, or a snack!
