Chewy Cocoa Brownies
- 1 23 granulated sugar
- 34 cup butter or 34 cup margarine, softened
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 13 cups all-purpose flour
- 34 cup Nestle Toll House Baking Cocoa
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup nuts, chopped
- powdered sugar
- Preheat oven to 350F Grease 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Combine sugar, butter and water in large bowl.
- Srir in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; stir into sugar mixture.
- Stir in nuts.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.
- Cool in pan on wire racks.
- Sprinkle wirh powdered sugar.
