Grilled Pork Vietnamese style
- 1 1/2 lb pork, chops, steaks, butt cut in thin sections, thin is good for this one
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp acid (lime juice, lemon juice, vinegar)
- 1 tbsp diced lemon grass (optional)
- 2 tbsp diced onion or shallot
- 3 clove garlic, diced
- 1 each large green onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
- Mix all marinade ingredients together
- Marinate pork for at least 30 minutes, overnight is better
- Grill, pan fry or broil pork.
- It really needs some black charcoal looking bits on it.
- Serve how you want, but, some rice, lettuce wraps, sauce of your choice, slice in strips, awesome
