Bar B Que Chicken Made In Electric Fry Pan Or Oven Recipe
- Bar-b-que sauce
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 teaspoon salt, optional
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Combine all ingredients together.
- Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Simmer 15 to 20 min.
- Preheat fry pan 360 degrees add in oil, shortening, or possibly butter sufficient to brown cut up 3 pound chicken or possibly chicken parts you prefer.
- Brown well or possibly all sides approximately 12 to 15 min.
- Remove chicken drain excess oil or possibly shortening.
- Set dial 260 degrees put chicken back in fry pan, cover with Bar-b-que sauce (use recipe above or possibly your own favorite type).
- Cover pan and cook 20 min turn chicken add in more sauce replace cover open vent cook another 15 to 20 min, till chicken is done.
- Will not be crispy but very tasty.
- For oven, preheat 350 degrees.
- Place chicken in roasting pan cover with sauce.
- Bake 30 min.
- Turn chicken add in more sauce continue to bake 30 min more.
