Easy and Simple Mackerel Sukiyaki
- 1 Mackerel
- 1 Onion
- 3/4 Carrot
- 4 Green peppers
- 1 block Tofu
- 1/4 Scallion
- 1 piece Ginger
- 1 Kombu
- 2 1/2 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- Buy halved mackerel fillets, cut each half into three, and blanch in hot water.
- Finely slice the carrot, green peppers, onion and green onion.
- Grate the ginger.
- When the konbu seaweed has softened, put all the ingredients in and turn the heat on.
- Simmer over a medium heat until the cooking sauce thickens.
