Fruit Skewers
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1 lime, zest of
- 1 apple
- 1 mango
- 1 peach
- 1 orange
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup strawberry
- 1 cup grapes
- 1 cup cherries
- 10 -15 skewers
- Pour sugar and water into a small saucepan.
- Bring it to a boil over high heat and stir until sugar dissolves.
- Begin grating the lemon and lime rinds into the saucepan.
- Once water is boiling, take it off the stove and let it cool.
- Meanwhile, start cutting fruit into small cubes or bite size pieces.
- You can leave the grapes, cherries, raspberries, and blueberries whole.
- Once done cutting up fruit, place one piece of each fruit onto a skewer.
- Feel free to add extra fruit or make different combos of fruit on each skewer!
- have fun with it!
- Place finished fruit skewers into large container.
- Once the syrup has cooled to room temperature, pour it over the fruit skewers.
- Place container in fridge for at least 4 hours.
- Enjoy these tasty treats!
