Tia Lola's Salsa
- 8 ounces red onions
- 4 ounces red bell peppers
- 4 ounces green bell peppers
- 12 ounces fresh tomatoes
- 4 ounces fresh cilantro
- 4 ounces fresh chives
- 3 ounces lemon juice
- 3 ounces canola oil
- 2 ounces water
- 14 ounce ground cumin
- 18 ounce salt
- 18 ounce pepper
- Peel, seed and chop the tomatoes.
- Chop the onion and pepper.
- Finely mince the cilantro and chives.
- Put a 12-in saucepan in medium.
- Add the oil, saute the onion and the peppers.
- When soft, add the tomato, reduce to low.
- Add the water, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon.
- Turn off.
- Add the cilantro and chives.
- Taste and correct.
